2.2 Location Data

PlayPBNow requests access to your device's precise location (GPS) to:

• Display nearby pickleball courts and beacons within your area
• Show matches happening near your location
• Improve location-based features and recommendations

Location is only collected when you explicitly grant permission and while using the App. You can revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. Location data is NOT shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

2.3 SMS Communication

PlayPBNow uses SMS for:

• Account verification and password recovery
• Match invitations (when you purchase SMS credits and send invites)

You must explicitly consent before we send SMS invitations to players. Each SMS invite requires:

1. Your affirmative action (checkbox confirmation)
2. Sufficient SMS credits in your account
3. Valid recipient phone numbers

SMS services are provided by Twilio, Inc. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of future messages. Standard SMS rates may apply to recipient carriers.

2.4 Automatically Collected Information

• Device Information: Device model, OS version, unique device identifiers, app version
• Usage Analytics: Pages visited, features used, time spent in-app, crash reports, and performance metrics
• IP Address: For security and fraud prevention purposes

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain core App functionality
• Create and manage your user account
• Process match invitations and player communications
• Display location-based features (courts, beacons, nearby matches)
• Improve App performance, stability, and user experience
• Send administrative notifications (password resets, account updates)

4. Data Retention

PlayPBNow retains your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

• Account information is deleted from our systems
• Match records and player statistics may be anonymized and retained for app improvement
• SMS credits are forfeited (non-refundable)
• Historical data from third-party services (like Stripe payment records) may be retained as required by law

We do NOT sell your personal data. We may share information with:

• Twilio, Inc.: For SMS verification and match invitations (SMS only, no personal data sharing)

7. Account Deletion

PlayPBNow provides an in-app account deletion feature in the Help section. To delete your account:

1. Open the PlayPBNow App
2. Navigate to the Help & Directions tab
3. Select "Delete My Account" from the Privacy & Legal section
4. Confirm your password
5. Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted

This action is permanent and cannot be undone.

8. Security

PlayPBNow implements industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
• Secure password storage with hashing algorithms
• Regular security audits and updates
• Limited employee access to sensitive data

While we use encryption and security protocols, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

PlayPBNow is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete such information and terminate the child's account.
